I had this thought in my head - didn't exactly come out on the card like it was in my head...
I used the Quatrefoile Die from PaperTrey and adhered it to the white card base. Then I stamped and colored the rose three times, cut and layered with foam squares. The leaves and stems were cut using the die from PTI Turn a New Leaf.

I definitely CAN see the sketch ...what a pretty version for it. I know what you mean when you have an idea in your head and it doesnt quite work the same...but np here ...this is a lovely rose. Love the EF you used behind it...great sketch...TFS..:0)

I really love this die cut background and the way you've used the leaves to form your crossed pieces for the sketch.
