CAS160 Stitched Monogram

This is my card for this week's CAS challenge....monogram cards:CAS160: Monogram Cards (3/5/12) by Miss Boo at Splitcoaststampers

I drew my L in cursive then paper pierced it and stitched it using DMC Pearl Cotton 5 thread and a size 20 tapestry thread.

Wow. I love it. Was it hard to stitch? I don't sew, but was wondering if I should try it by hand? It made me smile. I thought of Laverne's sweaters from the 70's.

Oh, Lisa, I just LOVE this idea! It's a beautiful card, and what a clever idea to bring two crafts together! I'm sure most of us stampers have loads of supplies from other crafts. Love it!
