All the colors except the sky was applied with a hand squeeze air brush from Perfect Paper Crafting, find the airbrush link to the left. ItÂ’s so easy to use and the fuller your marker the less you need to squeeze.
Some masking using torn paper was done for the layers of landscape.
I also used the Perfect Borders from the same company to cut the black and blue borders.
The sky was created with the direct to paper technique by rubbing the pad across the cardstock.
The butterflies from Cheery Lynn were attached with AleeneÂ’s tacky glue and stickles were applied to the body.
The faux brads are circles cut with the Cuttlebug Tiny Tags die that I glued to the card then applied Aleene’s Paper Glaze – the perfect brad every time! Any clear lacquer will work - Diamond Glaze, Crystal Effects etc. I use the CB die cut because it rounds the edges like a real brad. These are very easy to pick up with a straight pin dipped in glue then touch the back of the cut out to pick it up, now place it on the card and press down with the finger as you pull the pin away – it will allow you to move it if needed before the glue dries.
If the lacquer doesnÂ’t dry clear I color it with Copics.
Image: The pink is stamped with Stampin Up Linen, then a smaller stamp from Biblical Impressions was sued to spot stamp.
