 | | My entry for this week's Inspiration Challenge. The inspiration site was Galeria Arts & Crafts Calgary, and I was inspired by a photo on their home page. The photo shows a quilt hanging on the wall with some smoky tree-patterned pottery sitting below. I used the colors and square motif from the quilt, and used the idea of the white trees against the smokey background for the image piece. To make the image piece, I stamped the tree image from the old "Falling for You" set by My Favorite Things in Versamark ink, embossed them with clear powder, and then ran an inked-up brayer over them in several different directions. |
