This card is for Tig, an avid fisherman who's been left at the shore because of rotator cuff surgery. Here's his story. I was playing around yesterday with the old shaving cream technique and thought this piece would work as a background for my wide-mouth bass. I hand-wrote the sentiment -- so bring on the extra cookies!!!

Ha ha! Cookies indeed! Here is my IOU! What? Well, you see, Chapter 7, Page 258, says.......try being creative with bait! Some goofball teapotter found the cookies I hid on the boat and well, let's just say we are outa cookies until we get to shore! After I fulfill my own IOU, I will fulfill yours! Giggle!
This is big brown if ever I have seen a Big Brown! Look at the way he is mocking that empty hook.......he might have been caught, had he not knocked the cookie off the hook!
You did good....this rocks.....if I accidently forget to get you your cookies, just remind me......we always have cookies hidden somewhere! How appropriate you that you used shaving creme on a masculine fishing card! Whoot!

Wow - love that shaving cream background (I need to try that sometime). What a great card - love the way you did that fishing pole and the fish - looks like he is trying hard to get to it. Wonderful card!!!! Hugz!

Love your card. Perfect guy card. I was just thinking of the shaving cream background the other day and wanted to do it, but didn't have any shave cream. My dh uses soap! instead. He needs to change so I can do my crafting! lol

Love the angled design of the rod and line. And the shaving cream technique may be old but it's still lots of fun and yours looks just great. I like the smell, too .
