'Love Makes the World Go 'Round' is a song written in 1961 for the Broadway show, 'Carnival!', which then inspired the movie 'Lili', starring Leslie Caron, one of my favorites. Actually the sentiment was the last thing I decided on. This card is loosely based on SC14 (yes, way way back). I thought this postage stamp Love stamp would work well repeated, then remembered I had the smaller cancellation stamps, which I repeatedly used all over the bottom, therefore a sort of global theme emerged. I really like how this turned out; sometimes the best stuff is unplanned.

My mom sang that song when I was growing up. You are right about unplanned things turning out just right. So many times I have started a card with one thing in mind and ended up in a totally different direction. I like that gold and the stamping on the bottom piece. Great color combo~
