I have soooo much to do today but I couldn't move forward until I had made my card. My mother tried to teach me to do fine sewing (she was taught by nuns so you can imagine how perfect everything was) but I was too impatient. I knew I couldn't do anything really precise so I told myself 'sew messy, Jean, you do that well!' So I took some white thread and made a messy sewn background on my kraft cs. To keep the messy theme going, I had salvaged this piece of a box from work because it had a pattern on it (it's somewhat zebra looking, hard to see). This card is a case of: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
I love Karen Dunbrook's work! Thanks, Karen, for the inspiration.

I love this!!! If we didn't have to go out this evening I wanted to make a card with quilting-style stitching on the base layer. This has such a great organic feel to it, TFS.

I love your take on this theme today! Great job, and not nearly messy as I would have made it (I mean a mess of it!) Well done, Jean!
