Hi everyone! I have combined the IC, WT, and F4A challenges from here at SCA and a few others as well in the making of this birthday card for a friend. The Inspiration Challenge was to choose an item from the 'Close To My Art' store.....the first item I noticed was the teapot bouquet, then the floral clock, and the adorable Pink Pig Bank helped me decide what colors to use! I have also incorporated the ODBD Shining the Light Challenge: something new and something old (new = Flower Soft Topper and ODBD stamps; old=SEI plaid designer paper), the ODBD Stamping In Time '2010' Challenge: 2=2 designer paper layers, 0= zero buttons or brads, 1=one ribbon, 2 = 2 colors of cardstock, and the Our Creative Corner Challenge is to create a shaped card.
Card 'Ingredients':
Stamps: Our Daily Bread designs 'Special Blend';
Cardstock: SU Pink Pirouette and Whisper White;
Designer Paper: SEI Juliette and the Springtime Card Topper Collection by Flower Soft (When I saw the plaid pattern under the teacup on the Card Topper, I had to dig in my stash to find this designer paper by SEI to match it.....yay!);
Ink: Stazon Timber Brown and SU Early Espresso for sponging the edges;
Accessories: Spellbinders Grand Labels One Dies, Bow Easy, Flower Soft 'Baby Pink', Exacto knife to cut slit for ribbon access, Zva Creative Pearls, 'Pearl' Glimmer Mist, SU Pink Pirouette grosgrain ribbon, paper piercer, foam tape;
Size: Approx 5-1/2 x 5-1/2.
Thanks so very much for looking! God Bless!!
