I was "chicken in" to see who the QFTD is this week and, to my baw-baw-baaaaawking delight, it's my friend, Jen, aka Miss Boo! Not only is Jen a very talented stamper, but she is so sweet in real life, too. She's one of those people with an infectious smile with whom you just want to be around.
I chose Jen's beautiful Thank You card. Jen and I happen to be on the Rubbernecker design team together, so I wanted to use some Rubbernecker images to case her card.
I heat embossed the chicken and chicken wire bg images with copper embossing powder. I colored the chicken/chickadees with reinker and blender pen. I really like how Jen sponged the bottom half of her beautiful card. I used Tea Dye Distress Ink to sponge mine.
Congratulations, Queen Jen! I'm honored to be one of your many humble servants in your kingdom today! LOL!

Charlene, great case of Jen's card. I really like that sponging at the bottom, too. Your little cluckers are real cuties...big one, too.

Love this card! Super fun with the chicken wire and chickens. Love the sponging you did to create a variation of color. Great layout and love the gingham too. Really great card.

This is a wonderful case. You did a great job with the chickens (look a lot like mine in the pen in the back) and your papers and embossing are perfect. Well done!
