 | | Our challenge this week for the TSC was to make a white card and IF we had to, use one other color. I decided to us gold because I happened to uncover some vellum I have had for ever and it has gold snow flakes. IRL all the gold I used is the same color but the photo makes it look slightly different. Pat Smethers introduced me to this particular die so I cut one out of white CS, used versamark ink and gold EP on it. The sentiment means Blessed Christmas and is in German; also stamped with gold ink. Tied on a gold piece of scrap ribbon (shoulda seen me trying to tie that ribbon which felt like it was an inch too short!). In working with the vellum, I simply cut it to the size of the piece of CS I used as the card base and scored it on my Scorebuddy down the middle. Adhered the vellum to the CS with Creative Memories photo splits made especially to disappear on vellum. |
