Creating a little Birthday something for my DIL who is not pink or floral. She stretches me and that is a good thing I have loved Kittie747's birdhouse cards, but I had a template from Nicole Heady at PTI sitting around so I thought I'd finally tackle it. I have also loved Judy-jaydekay's many uses of adorable chickadee's. I found a few punch tutorials and just combined the aspects of them and the images that Judy has been using to make one of my own with the SU bird punch. I also embossed the roof with the cb textile ef for a tin look and rubbed my antique linen pad over it then sponged on top of that. The cool black gingerbreading is a Tim Holtz Alterations border that I picked up at the Cat's Meow in CA. Loving that!
