IC311 birthday silhouette

This is my card for Saturday's inspiration challenge. This week Stef sent us to the Singing Cat Studio for our inspiration. And, there was lots of it at this site.

I chose this turquoise cameo pendant as my inspiration.

I bought this silhouette Marianne design die at a stamp show and today was a good day to pull it out to use it.

My rectangle was stamped and dry embossed in keeping with the way the inspiration piece looked.

I used Stampin-Up turquoise dsp and also some old SU velvet ribbon. I added a lace layer to it.

That's my card for today.

I was attracted to the cameo piece, too but ended up choosing something else...I love your interpretation of the pendant! That blue is striking especially with the black lace and borders. Great card!
