Golden Butterfly Inspiration

My favorite card from this weeks inspiration challenge was this one done by Arizona Maine:
IC307 beautiful you by Arizona Maine at Splitcoaststampers

I fell instantly in love with her inspired design, especially the elegant contrast of the gold and white. As a result, I just had to try it! Only problem is that I didn't have the same materials.... so I die cut a butterfly from white paper and used my gold leaf pen to imitate the golden texture of her dragonfly (repeated with the pearls)... I used an embossing folder that framed the card - although it didn't have the cut out center.

I still love hers more - but it's still in my favorites so I can go look at it and swoon any time! LOL The tiny dragonfly charms in the photo are honoring my inspiration designer.
