 | | Playing along with the Way To Use It Challenge to use pink in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month. I've been trying to flood my mom with cards as she is in her 6th month of treatment. I think she'll like this one with the pinks and browns.
I embossed the silhouette with clear ep after inking first with Versamark then Crumb Cake ink. I then sponged in the bg with Pink Pirouette, Pretty in Pink and Bashful Blue...I added a little blue because my dry embossed panel had a bit of blue in the debossed areas (I guess I hadn't cleaned my ef after inking it for a previous card...oops). I added some Soft Suede sponging on this panel as well as over the wood grain embossing behind the main image panel. The butterfly is die cut using Beautiful Wings and is sponged also. |
