I finally decided to jump in and try the Verve sketch this week after seeing Marisa Ritzen (whitrockmama) make the most gorgeous cards using these sketches. I have three Verve stamps so I pulled them out, and I was so happy to see this wonderful "Cast" All Your Cares on Him stamp because it worked perfectly with the worm/fishing image I wanted to use for this week's teaparty. Yea - I love when things all come together.
This week's teaparty involves a trout named JJ who swallows a ball and his stripes reallign and he looks like a referee....well, that is the short version anyway. I have very little black and white paper so mine doesn't look quite like a referee, but it has to do. I think I qualify for the front door, but I am going in the back because that is where the good cookies are!
This week's destination station is the husband of one of my favorite friends so I am soo excited. Poor Chip #Karen's aka Redbugdriver's husband# is doing tons of PT after a difficult surgery and he has to stay at the PT facility away from Karen. I hope he likes pink since I just realized my card has a pink base and frame - Karen, just tell him it is faded red.

I like your short version! As I was reading it, I was thinking....Hey, it could happen! Snort! This is a great card and you are right, what a perfect sentiment! But, you better be careful Nancy, if you sink that red and white bobber, you could get a penalty called on you and you might end up getting kicked outa the lake! If I was that worm, I would be squirmin' big time!
Such a wonderful card and how nice for you to make it for your friends man! He will smile and she will be touched! Whoot!
