 | | Jeanne's challenge today was to make our own DP.
Extra points if we combined with a HYCCT challenge, but as I've already made several extra cards, I combined with the current ODBD Stamping in Time challenge to use fall colours.
A2 base. I took a piece of watercolour paper and stamped with the leaves using a variety of colours, and then embossed with clear EP.
Then I misted it and used Peeled Paint and Broken China re-inkers to colour the background. After trimming it to size I sponged the edges with Fired Brick.
Sentiment stamped with Versafine Olympia Green on white card and then distressed with Wild Honey, Shabby Shutters and Scattered Straw. Edges distressed and sponged with Wild Honey.
I added some Cuttlebug Vintage Corners cut from black card, with an orange gem on the flower. I stamped an extra leaf and popped it up on foam. |
