The first two samples I looked at were gorgeous and I wanted to copy. They both had leaves. I wanted to be original, so I sat down at my craft table and decided to use what I found there. Guess what I found. Leaves. You can find just about anything on my craft table. Sometimes it's even alive.
I found some corrugated cardboard and some punched leaves. I peeled and inked up the cardboard and inked the edges of the leaves and mounted them.
The sentiment is computer generated and embossed afterward. I actually had to get up and look for the piece of twine. Everything but the twine is inked. I love it and would love to hear from you.

I just love the tattered rustic look you got going there. What a great idea to use the cardboard. Sometimes it pays to just sit at your table and look at the bits of junk laying around! LOL Looks fabulous for 'junk'. Into my favs by the way.

Carol, this is FABULOUS!! I want your craft table! : ) Love how you colored your leaves and the corrugated cardboard gives a wonderfully rustic texture.
