This is a cardboard plain book form box I found at Hobby Lobby. It's a box shaped like a book. It made me want to decorate it! I found these delightfully nostaligic Graphic 45 papers of The Magic of Oz at Archiver's. I knew I had to make something with these very awesome papers! I made a faux book! I first covered the book in black linen card stock from The Paper Company. I then put the gold trim pieces on the edges. These gold trim pieces I found at Red Lead, a specialty paper shop in Webster Groves Missouri. I tediously cut out several selected images from the Graphics 45 Oz collection, and collaged them over the book cover. Then I made a transparent packing tape image of Dorothy, and made a clear page for the book. Inside the book, I also selected several images and cut them out and collaged the inside of the box. I then placed a battery operated tea light inside the box. It was a lot of fun!
