Today at Mark's Finest Papers our challenge was to make a one layer card. For me that was a huge challenge. I don't think I ever made a one layer card. I'm not even sure I did the challenge right....lol
What you see here is this awesome paper from Mark's Finest Papers Neutrals Premium Paper Combo - it's the 100lb Kraft. It's embossed with the pumpkin cuttlebug folder. I stamped the leaves from MFP Autumn Glory stamp and distress inked with Rangers Spiced Marmalade, Mustard Seed, Peeled Paint, and Fired Brick. Then I stickled the leaves. The glitter rows were done with two way tape that I picked up at a convention not long ago.
Hope you can join us. I would love to see your "one" layer cards so I can take a lesson!!! Today is cooler here in GA. I have some pumpkin butter cooking in the crock pot that I am going to can and I plan to make some English Muffin Bread. The house smells so good!
Have a great weekend!

Hi Bearzi! This is one fine Autumn card. The leaves are so beautiful and I love all your sparkle and border punch. It's good to see you can also make a one-layer card. They are so hard for me to make. You always make magnificent cards no matter what the challenge!! Hugs!

One layer cards just about do me in so I can only imagine how hard it would be for the Queen of Layers to even think about making a OLC! Your card is gorgeous. Those leaves are just fabulous Bearzi! The sparkle and shine is so purdy and I love the look of that embossing folder... And you still managed to include punching. That's a sign of a good Punchkateer! RYPH!!! Huge hugz!

Gingerbeary8 and a one layer card? Is that possible? I guess it is since I see it here, but I want to see it in a few days because I am thinking you will rip it apart and add 50 more layers before you send it out. Love the sentiment and the sparkles. I love when you do CAS - it is just such a shocker. Hugz!

Those leaves are so luscious for fall, Carol! And all that glitter really makes this sparkle. This challenge must have been truly challenging for you!! But your result really shines.

I saw the thumbnail and said to myself "That's pretty CAS for Bearzi!"...now I know why. You are good at one layer cards too - this is just fabulous! Just enough color and texture to be interesting, enough sparkle to catch the eye. Beautifully done, as always!
