I probably should not have played today's challenge because: 1) I didn't have the cool colors they asked for so I went with what I had - Pumpkin pie, Blush Blossom and Sage Shadow and 2) As you can tell, I'm not good at "brayering" but I took the plunge anyway.
When I read the colors, I happened to look out our window and the sun was just coming up. It was the brightest orange, with orange streaks coming out from it and I immediately thought of this stamp set because you know, "red sky in morning, sailors take warning". I definitely have the dessert option of something outside whether I have anything else or not. I guess it will make a good masculine birthday card!

I'm glad you played in today's challenge. This is one beautiful card. I know what you mean about brayering I have a problem with it too, but I think your sky looks wonderful. TFS

No excuses necessary....this is just beautiful!! Great use of substitute colors. I had to do it too.

You did a great job with brayering the sky and the water!! I am not a brayer myself, but think it looks awesome. Nice that you could see the sun coming up today too. :>)
