This is one of the cards I designed for our monthly card group. I've been running the group for a few years now and the ladies are all regulars and they all love my Santa and Sleigh stamp. We've used it a few times over the years and they demanded to use it again this year!
So out came my oldie but goodie Santa and Sleigh stamp and I've paired it with a new Hero Arts stamp called 'Winter Village'. I used a 1 1/4" circle punch for my moon mask - on reflection I wished I'd used a 1" circle. I tore a piece of white paper and held it in place while sponging the sky with Bashful Blue, Not Quite Navy and Night of Navy inks. I edged the whole panel with Night of Navy ink. I then stamped the village stamp twice, once direct to the sponged panel and again on a separate piece of white CS. I peeled off the moon mask, stamped Santa and added the sentiment at the bottom. I cut out the houses I'd stamped on the separate piece of CS, coloured the windows with Yoyo Yellow marker ink and a blender pen, added Dazzling Diamonds to the snowy bits and then popped the houses up.
