 | | I love that this week we were allowed to choose our Queen for the Day, and I know many that deserve this honor, however, this one is dear to my heart and I began to hear about her long before I knew her. Her her Mama is one of my closest friends (Heartsong47). If she does not have an image she needs- she draws it! And I mean good too! (and, she is a wee bit addicted to glitter....who isn't?) By now you know I mean Wendy, who has also become a regular to many SCS places- MMTPT, QFTD, SC, CAS and one of my favs, the Shining the Light Challenge at Our Daily Bread Designs. I chose Wendy's "Sending my Love" card, because it was her first, and also because it's gorgeous! I love SU's Top Note, and also how Wendy had sprinkled little hearts and blooms about her card. To honor the faith we share, I used ODBD's Scripture Series 2 and For the Graduate.
I changed the direction, and made it an easel card to suit the Twisted Sister Challenge for this week issued by Sue (Irishgreensue) to use purples and greens and at least 3 layers on an easle. Wendy, the lace is a gift I received from your mama, and the hearts and bridge represent the friendship we share. Thank you for all you have shared in this place- mostly your heart! LYMI! |
