The challenge today is to use strips. I didn't cross mine. I stacked them instead. I made a sympathy card with my new stamp set. I cut out strips, decreasing in size, and scored them. I then layered them and cut the bottom on a diagonal. I staped image with su markers, and sponged with chalk. I used nesties to cut out sentiment. Colored pearls with copics. tfl

What a wonderful card! Love the hint of blue. Very pretty. I actually CASEd a card of yours last week in honour of your QFTD status (congrats) and then gave it to the recipient before I took a photo!! So, once I get another chance I'll give it another try! I have a few of your cards in my faves!

What a beautiful and elegant sympathy card, Linda. It has the gentleness that I think is so appropriate for this kind of card. Love your strips upon strips for the side accent...and the pretty pearls and your delicately done floral image.
