 | | This is my card for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday "BINGO" challenge. I chose:
Shaped Card
Pink Color
Distressed (inked edges)
I used the Flourishes "Apple of My Eye" stamp set colored in with Tombows, cut out and popped up on popdots to give it more "lift" and interest. I used a Spellbinders "Lacey Square" for my "shaped card" part and be the base of my card. I used some pink My Mind's Eye paper for my "pink" part and distressed the edges in some Distress Ink, for my "distressing" part. I used a small calendar and hat pin from Jenny Bowlin Studios with white ribbon, and some Prima pearls for accents.
I am calling this card "My Thank You" because I made it for my close friend, who has seen me through many, many personal trials in our short 3 year friendship. She has always been there for me, had two shoulders handy for me to cry on, once while holding a baby on the other one, given me both wisdom and spiritual encouragement and had me laughing in stitches when I needed it most. And even though she does not have much, she offers me anything and everything at a moments notice. That's a true friend and you don't find many of those
