Hence the FANS. It is September 1st, with cooler weather around the corner - but you would not know it here in St. Louis. Supposed to be 104 degrees today.
This card is for today's Ways to Use it #338 - Back to School 1 - Paint. I used watercolor pencils and a brush to blend on the roses only - the remainder is with COPICS blender pens. Hope this is not cheating.
The fan is a digi stamp that I got last month from Priscillastyles. I enlarged the fan, colored and painted the image in the larger state, rescanned to make smaller, printed out 2 and cut them out. I find that when there is a lot of detail, it is much easier to color the image large for those little details, and then scan and size down to fit the card (does that make sense?).
The side panel is stamped with SU Sanded Background Stamp, used a MS border punch to compliment the fan, and added 3 green rhinestones for bling.
Thanks so much for looking. Hope you like it

Barb, your card is wonderful...and right on target with HOT weather!! Glad we have AC and don't have to wave fans for real! : ) Love your beautiful fans and the way you have colored them. The colors of your entire card are so pretty and I love the scalloped border....so feminine.
