These trees are for a couple of gentlemen friends of mine one who especially loves the fall of the year and the other is winter sports person! (I am ahead of the game now because these are ready a little early...YEA!! I am usually rushing at the last moment especially with masculine cards!!) I wouldn't mind a little of that kind of weather here in the middle of the arid, parched, bone-dry, dehydrated and extremely hot weather we are experiencing in central TEXAS!! Makes me just want to stay home and stamp.... luckily that is all I have to do, but I miss hitting the stamping supply stores!! Always the internet to peruse.
I stamped my trees and grass from Posh Impressions in VersaFine Vintage Sepia, which is chocolate brown to me, on one card and VersaFine Black on the other and embossed them in clear ep. Cut the trees out with a Spellbinders Nestie rectangle and another around that. Added some stickles to simulate frost, added a couple of MS borders, decorated the envelopes and VOILA!!

This card makes me think of the rising sun on a frosty morning, with the sun glistening off the frost on the trees and bushes!! Another Beautiful card Phyllis!!

Well done on all your tree cards. Of them all, I think this one is my favorite. Love that frosty winter look to it though I'm not in any rush for snow just yet. Tfs.

Love your tree cards, they are beautiful! This is my favorite!! It reminds me of a cold winter evening when the very last hint of sun is fading and you see that glimmery hint of a pinkish, coppery color on the frost laden trees. TFS
