 | | This is my first try at the embedded image. I'm not that happy with it as the birds kind of melted into the background. I read some of the suggestions from others who used this technique and saw pvbkt's suggestion to hold the gun further away (I also used her layout). But as you can see, some of the embossing powder did not stick onto the birds but then I had trouble with the garnet color ep sticking where I didn't want it! So I had to use a small paint brush to take that off. I'm assuming an embossing buddy wouldn't help so if anyone has any suggestions, I'm open. I'll watch the video to see if there are any tips. I do like how the background turned out and even the birds do look better in person. |

. I had problems too with the coloured EP sticking on my first attempt this time round. Next time I left it longer to cool AND wiped it with an embossing buddy before doing the stamping - that helped me.
