For Kittie's challenge - an autumn wreath for the first of August. Seeing a cornflower tutorial listed reminded me of the first time I saw a field of wheat with poppies and cornflowers on my first visit to France, so I've used those colours.
Base is 5 3/4" cream card with a black frame drawn with a Sakura Glaze pen. Red layer was just white card sponged with Barn Door so that it matches my poppies.
For the wreath I lightly pencilled a circle and stamped the wheat from Autumn Days using Scattered Straw. I used tiny punches for the red and blue flowers (white card, sponged with Broken China and Barn Door) and shaped them a bit with a stylus. The poppies have black Stickles, the cornflowers have green distress Stickles.
Centre flower - I didn't have a suitable punch so I just used two sizes of a generic flower punch, trimmed the edges with a deckle scissors to make them less regular, and snipped into the centre. I used 3 larger ones and two smaller. Foliage punched with a Leone-Em punch. I decided to add a little bee in the corner after distressing the edges and adding another black frame. I think I'll stamp a small sentiment in the bottom corner...

This is a beautiful wreath, Sabrina!! I love the blue and red with the softer wheat color! The blue makes me think of the pretty chicory (weed) that is blooming all over the place here, it also makes me think I should collect some, and do the pressing with it and marigolds.
Anyhow, your wreath would look so pretty on a front door!
Sabrina, I love this stunner! Each and every detail is perfect and way to make that center flower so beautiful. Your wreath is precious but my most favorite thing is that tiny little bumble bee! Thanks so much for playing in my challenge and making something so special!
Wow, Sabrina, this is just outstanding! I love the wheat wreath and splash of color with the red and blue flowers! The delicate punched foliage is wonderful!
