I started this card yesterday for the sketch challenge. When I saw the sketch it made me think of a white picket fence. So I tried to make that look. I was happy with my results until I started to sew the panels down. I used my corner punch to curve the the corners of the panels and for some reason, I couldn't zig zag stitch it to look good. I ripped the stitches out twice and it looked so bad, I was going to throw it away. I set it aside and let it rest overnight. I decided this morning to use it with the altered ribbon. The ribbon on this card, started out as part of a double ribbon roll. I cut the glittery section apart from the non glittery ribbon. I heated it with my heat gun. I think the ribbon distracts sufficiently from my messed up stitching. I know you can still see the holes on the left panel, but it isn't too noticable.

I've loved this poppy image ever since I first saw it, and my sister loves butterflies. Now I have an excuse (as if I needed one) to combine the two into a card for her. Thanks!
