Last week my daughter was fueling her truck and a dead butterfly floated towards her feet. She knew I love butterflies so she picked it up and brought it home to me. I hadn't ever seen one that looked like this one. I had silverspots on the underside of the wings. From numerous searches it looks like we have a Speyeria Cybele. If anyone knows for sure I would love to know. I wanted to color my Mark's Favorite Papers butterfly to mimic the real thing. I stamped the MFP butterfly from Daffodil and Anise set. The sentiment is from another MFP set called Poppies,Poppies,Poppies. The background was done with ink-spray-smash with green leaves stamped over it. The leaves are from a Verve set called Forever in our Hearts. Thanks Faith for a really fun sketch! I may not get to comment on a lot of cards because I am teaching crafts for our VBS. VERY BUSY WEEK!
