This is my take on the Fan Club inspiration challenge for May. This has been rattling around in my head for awhile. I had to go buy Umbrella Man so I could try it. (I had been wanting him to come to my house anyway! LOL) Anyway, I thought I would get it done tonight before the new Fan Club opens tomorrow. Fan Club membership is SO WORTH IT!
The picture is done with pointalism--as George Seurat did--the color is applied as only dots--many, many dots!
If I had it to do again, I would leave out the sun, but oh, well....I probably won't ever do it again.
The sentiment is one of my favorites--had to have it--but rarely use it. I do put it on display in my home where I can see it every day. It reminds me to take time out to stamp even when I don't feel like I have the time. I come away refreshed when I do take the time to create something.
