Diva Tosh came up with this sketch for the fifth week of Verve's May sketch challenges and just about sent me into ICU. Not only were there two skewed panels but three across the bottom to contend with too!
After a looooong battle, this card was finally done! Phew! Promise me, no skewed panels on your next sketch, okay Tosh??!!!

Ah, but you mastered the skewed panels with such grace and elegance that I really begin to wonder if they really are such a problem for you after all... Wonderfully done - and love that pretty flutterby... Slowly getting back into a groove - still battling a terrible cold that I'm sure I picked up in the airport in Vancouver...

I knew you could do it, and do it well!!! Sometimes the things we work the hardest at have the best results. Glad I could "help you" come up with this beauty Marisa. ;) I love the colors and how you added the flourish to the second tilted panel. And the striped trio along the bottom....fabulous!! You so ROCKED this sketch!! So much so, that I think I'll have to include a tilt when I do a sketch again. You have a couple of months though...just enough time to recover. *grin*

Great card! Love the mix of colors and the different shapes, but the butterfly and the butterfly trail are my favs! Great card.

I was going to say Marissa that this was a lot of "stuff" on a card for you and the angles are just not what I am used to seeing from you......lol!!! It is exceptionally pretty and you did an outstanding job bringing on the components together. I love that you used brown as you accent color as it really makes the other colors stand out. This is gorgeous and hope that you had a short visit to the ICU because of this!!! lol You did great girlfriend.

You skewed these panels to perfection! I love what you did and I totally understand about the 'skewing'. Fabulous colors too.
PS - I finally snagged that butterfly punch myself using a Michael's coupon and a gift card!!
