This is a card I made for a friend that I haven't seen in a while. She has only received cards from me with frogs on them because she loves them, so this will be the first card I've given her that is somewhat vintage, but definitely not whimsical. I hope she likes it.
I laid down a strip of lace onto the dp then ruffled lace hem tape and tacked it down with glue. The edges of the dp was brushed with white and brown Adirondack acrylic paints then sewn onto kraft cardstock.
I matted it onto coral colored cardstock, which was also hit with some white paint. I made the flower cluster, added some sparkle and stick pins and a little netting. And last but not least, I added the chipboard butterfly and created a rhinestone trail from some rhinestone flourish which I shaped by cutting off the parts of the flourish I didn't need, then I inked it a dark pink to match the stones on the butterfly. That's it!
Hope you like and TFL!
