I've made this card with an owl brooch pin attached for my friend Jan. To make the pin, I stamped the owl on Crumb Cake CS using Memento Rich Cocoa ink, punched it out, punched two more owl shapes and glued the three layers together. I then applied one coat of clear gloss varnish to the back and two coats to the front. I wasn't sure if SU! ink would run when I applied the varnish so that's why I used Memento ink. I'll try with SU! ink another time.
After the varnish had dried, I glued a brooch pin fitting to the back. To attach the pin to the card I punched a 1" circle, pierced two holes and fixed the pin to the circle. Then I used repositionable glue dots to stick the circle to the Pear Pizzazz mat.
The other owls are stamped in Pear Pizzazz ink, have yellow gem eyes, Crumb Cake branches and Pear flowers. They're all popped up. The 'one of a kind' owl has green gem eyes, a Choc Chip branch and a blue gem flower.
