I don't have a blog or website or anything to post instructions or pictures on so I'll try and explain the best I can......
-Cut cardstock to 7" x 4 1/8". This will be your main piece for the holder
-Score starting from the left side at 3" and 3 1/4" along the long side (7" side)
-Cut a strip of the same cardstock to 4" by 1 1/8" and then score down the middle at 2". This will be the strap that help keep your holder closed. Glue the strap to the backside of your holder so the 2" score is lined up with the edge of the paper.
Now for the pockets...
For the pocket on the left side where you can put the giftcard:
-Cut your cardstock to 3 1/2" x 2 3/4"
-Score 1/4" on one side of the 2 3/4" edge and both sides of the 3 1/2" cut
-Fold your scores to create a pocket and glue down to the left side of your holder you previously cut.
-Make sure your pockets don't go past your middle score lines or the holder will not close right.
For the pocket on the right side to put a note card:
-Cut cardstock to 2 3/4" x 4 3/8"
Score 1/4" on one side of the 4 3/8" side and both sides of the 2 3/4" cut
-Fold your score lines to create the pocket.
-Take your circle punch and cut a half circle on the open side of the pocket so the note card is easier to pull out.
-Glue your pocket in place. Make sure your pockets don't go past your middle score lines or the holder will not close right.
Note card:
-Cut cardstock to 3 3/4" x 2 3/4". I used a punch to make the pull out tab on the card.
-To help keep the gift card holder closed you can use little Velcro strips or magnets and place them on your strap and the front of the holder.
Then decorate as desired!
