 | | I marker-spray-smashed turquoise and purple on a piece of cardstock I used that to make my button. I used a die cut flower. I took the markers that I used on the button to go around the edges so that the white of the cardstock wouldn't show. I then embossed with UTEE instead of crystal effects, because I hate waiting. I then took dp that matched my button to make a quilt card. I "embossed" the quilting on my card using a swirls embossing folder. I stitched the quilt with fancy thread that Sabrina gave me for my birthday. I was talking to my mother in law about this beautiful thread. She is a quilter and quilts like I make cards. Unfortunately on Friday she fell and broke her arm and her wrist and on Dr.'s order she can't quilt. I am sending her this card to try and cheer her up. The button quote is from a Mark's Finest Papers set called SEW WHAT? |
