OOOPS! Just opened the challenge thread and realized I have the wrong green, my bad! That's what I get for looking at the colors the night before and counting on my faulty memory the next morning. ANYWAY, please forgive the Pear Pizazz and imagine Celery instead. I had seen a felt flower in a magazine the other day and decided to try the technique using paper instead so I could play in the color challenge. The flowers are made by cutting a length of paper (pink was ~6x2.5", the saffron 4 1/2x2"), folding it in half, then snipping about 2/3 of the way through to form the petals. You then form a circle with the paper and overlap and glue the edge. Glue a circle in the center to help hold it together. I added a saffron stamped button that I added dimension to using a stylus. The leaves are folded Pear run on the bias through a crimper then cut into leaves. I sponged the edges for depth and so they'd show up better against the pear bg. The flower is popped on dimensionals over the leaves.
