I'm really not fond of orange and so I haven't bought Tangerine Tango CS and ink. My friend Jan was telling me how much she liked it and she kindly gave me a couple of pieces of CS and lent me her ink pad too so I could try it out.
Well, I did try tinkering with Tangerine Tango a few times but I just couldn't make a card with it, every time I got out the CS it would be put away again! I love black and white with a pop of bright colour so I decided that is how I would use the Tangerine. I only managed to use a smidgen of CS, but I did at least use the ink a bit more! The ink seems less intense than the CS.
I'm happy with the finished card design but I'm definitely not sold on Tangerine Tango. I've decided it's perfectly OK to not like orange and just happily use the colours I DO like!

This is great. I really do like that orange splash with the black and white. You did great with it. I like the lace border with the tangerine ink. You are right, it's not quite as bright as the cs.

I really like this card -- the orange is exactly what the flowers needed to really pop. I tend to agree with you about the paper. It is a bit too much. I might try the ink, though, for small details. I think it looks great on your card. I was never a fan of orange either, but it's growing on me especially if it's a bit on the coral side or light peach.
