This is for IC282 and Wild Wings is our inspiration site. I was inspired by this gorgeous gladiolas and hummingbird picture.http://www.wildwings.com/DirectionsW...mid=A085203641 I love gladiolas as they remind me so much of my mother's flower shop. I couldn't resisit cheating and using a new Rubbernecker image that I'm not supposed to upload until tomorrow when the team starts a new release review. I hope I don't go to stamper's jail.
I stamped the image three times on watercolor paper, painted and cut out to create a bouquet. I added punched foliage around the stems to add dimension to the bouquet and then added tiny little white circle punched flowers for softness.
The tiny punched flowers were made by placing a 1/8" punched circle on a mouse pad and pushing and screezing the center down into the pad with a small tipped stylus. This curls the little cirle edges up to create a tiny little flowerette. I thought they looked sweet grouped together in threes.

This looks like a flower shop with the trellis and that gorgeous bouquet and bow. Those flowerettes are brilliant - into the faves! Absolutely wonderful card.
