I've been stalled on my Christmas card quota this month, but thanks to Wendy's challenge to use layers, I'll easily be able to make another 3 of these tonight and slip in under the wire . I've kept colouring minimal, the only real effort is hand-cutting the black layers.
A2 white base.
The two largest Labels 8 were cut from black and white card. Top layer has an oval aperture cut at the same time, then embossed with Snowflakes ef, then popped up on dimensionals. Image layer is cut with the same size Label as the top layer. Stampavie image stamped with Versafine black, and just the holly and star coloured with distress inks. I added some Sizzix holly and berries punched with a circle punch.
I'll be back to admire all the layers later on when the garden isn't calling me. There may not be a whole bunch of layers on this by some standards, but by mine there certainly are.
