This is my card for the SCS April Fan Club Challenge of "Oh so shapely!".
I ran the brown-burgundy cardstock through my CB using the larger Jamara ef then I lightly sanded the embossing to make it stand out more and sprayed on a little pearl Glimmer Mist.
I used my MS Doiley Lace edge punch to punch the borders on the Kaisercraft English Rose dp's from their 6" x 6" paper pad, then ran them through my CB using the same Jamara ef which "distressed" them a little. I then adhered them together with doublesided tape but made sure that I didn't stick down the decorative border. I bent them up slightly so they would stand out more.
I added 2 different sized Kaiser Blush SB716 pearls which have the slightest tinge of pink along the very bottom layer of the dp's. I punched a butterfly from a scrap of dusty pink cs with my MS Monarch butterfly punch, ran it through the CB too with the same folder, sprayed on some pearl Glimmer Mist and added some Blush pearls to the centre.
The pink seam binding ribbon was originally cream which I dyed myself, and the bow itself was made with my Bow Easy.
I made the folded ribbon rose myself after watching a video on You Tube. The cream ribbon is 3/8" or 10mm wide and I sewed the bottom of it with cream sewing thread to hold it together as I folded the ribbon until I was happy with the size/shape. The olive green ribbon is 1/4" or 7mm wide and was shaped into a figure '8' then sewed underneath the rose hiding the tails. I then glued this ribbon to the seam binding bow with fabric glue.
I am also entering this card into the Crop Stop Challenge #15 of Vintage and the Frosted Designs Fabulous Fridays Challenge of Homemade/handmade embellishments. I have links and deets on my Blog - as well as a link to the You Tube video on how to make a folded ribbon rose.
I couldn't figure out where to add a sentiment or if I should add a flourish or something else to my card, and in the end decided to leave it as is (but I am open to suggestions!). I wish I could beam Julee Tilman from Verve Stamps into my Craft Room so Julee could tell me what to add to my card........or if I indeed, should just leave it alone!

Absolutely GORGEOUS!!! I love the colors and that is one of my very favorite border punches. The embossing makes it even more WOW! Pretty ribbon, pearls, rose and butterfly too!
TFS. : )
