This is the for monthly Christmas Card Challenge. My personal goal is to make 12 cards a month. I send a lot of cards
I made a baker's dozen of these cards (13) ... and when I asked DH what he thought (I always do), he said he didn't think they look like Christmas cards. I get that, kinda. What would you use them for?
Stamps: Like it a Latte
Colors: Blushing Bride, Real Red, Espresso, Whisper White
DSP: Candy Cane, Red Glitter
Embellies: Oval punch, dauber, Blushing Bride ribbon
Thanks for looking!
Blessings, Lela

These cards are lovely Lela! The colors are certainly Christmasy, but if you didn't want to use them for Christmas, you could use them for anything during the winter....even Valentines' Day. Looks like hot chocolate in those mugs.....my kind of drink!

I like them. I think it would all be in the sentiment. Make the Christmas sentiment blend with the image. Maybe stamp holly in the center of the heart?

I agree that it's not quite "traditional" but it's a perfectly lovely card all the same, and I would have no hesitation sending it for Christmas. And it would be a perfect holiday card for those who don't celebrate Christmas or where you have to be politically correct.
And did I mention adorable??? I love the cocoa on the inside.
