I started an album about the dogs in our family and I finally got to do another 2-page paper layout! These photos were for Patti’s “Laugh Out Loud” challenge (ThursFS0310). I get lots of photos with people smiling for the camera, but on this day, we were all hysterically laughing, trying to get four families’ worth of dogs to sit for a photo shoot (journaling below.) The dogs on the bottom right came from several places; the bone with the date came from a pet digi kit I found, added the date, printed and cut it out.
I also covered at least 3 other recent challenges:
Borders (SBVC144): I added a border on both side of the dps.
Frame It (SBVC142): I framed the photo on the right page with dog-themed cardstock, then framed the whole photo with little pawprint stickers.
Mixing Patterned Papers (ThursFS0317 - Forums at Splitcoaststampers For Patti’s most recent Thursday challenge on the goals thread, I mixed at least 3 patterned papers (I think I actually used five—a couple of which Tamcan sent me awhile back when one of our dogs passed away—thanks Tam!! lol)
Journaling: “I’ll never forget the day Jason, Rob and Lisa all brought their dogs over to the house. As the dogs were playing in the backyard, we decided it would be fun to get all of them to sit for a photograph. Yeah right!! We never did wind up with a perfect shot with them all facing the camera, but we sure laughed a lot! It was hilarious!
Left page: (lower left): Starting to get them into place.
(top rt): Almost got ‘em lined up.
(Lower rt): Looks pretty good -- we even have 2 kids in there, but whereÂ’s Remy?
Right page:
Got Remy, but oops … there goes Jake! Oh well…..”

I just love this! I think my favorite part is the paw print frame around the photo on the right page, but everything about this is super cute. I know exactly what you mean about trying to get a pic of multiple dogs...the only thing I've found that works is holding a treat above the camera and suddenly I have their undivided attention. Of course, then they're all crowding around me so close that it's hard to get the picture!

I love pet pages! My fur baby has his very own scrapbook, but I haven't added a page in his in awhile (plus it is in storage for 3 years). What a fun page!

CUTE CUTE CUTE!!! Love how the title just jumps right out! I like all the details in the different kinds of dp. The journaling strips are a great touch and all those little dogs across the bottom!
