Hi Kim....congratulations again. I've been a fan of your beautiful gallery for a long time. It was so much fun to take a leisurely stroll through it.
This card jumped right out at me because of the beautiful green colour...and then when I enlarged it and read that you had just "had some fun playing....free handed it using watercolor and markers" I just thought it was so sweet and you inspired me to try watercolours again. Within a matter of moments I remembered why I hate watercolouring's guts. I promised myself I would upload whatever came out though, so at the risk of insulting cardmakers everywhere...LOL....here's my card.
I did the trees with an Old Island Stamp Co. stamp and dotted them with copics.
Enjoy your reign, Kim!!!

Okay, your blurb made me laugh out loud! I am not that great at watercoloring either......right there with you! This turned out beautifully though. You're too hard on yourself.

Jo, I just had a big out-loud laugh at the puter, sitting here all alone in the house. You hate its guts...too funny. Watercoloring is my favorite way to color an image. I think what you did is very, very pretty. Love that beautiful scene and I think you did a splendid job. Thanks for the laugh, though.

You're too funny!! I don't think we should ever say we don't like our stuff, because so often what we don't like, someone else loves. I love the texture of the paper, and how you can see it in the sky. I like some of the variation in color in your grass. Thank you so much Jo for the card you have made and the time it took. Don't give up on the watercolor, just think of it as another challenge. Thanks!! :>)

I love the look of watercolor, and you did a great job. (I can't watercolor to save my life, and would certainly never try anything freehand!!) I really like your tree scene and love your little birds.
