I made this card for a friend of mine who is going through some difficult times with difficult decisions. Her favorite colors are rose, burgandy, and olive green. On the inside of the card I used ODBD stamp from their Don't Worry set. It reads "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself." Matthew 6:34.
I created this card for two challenges - both a little late - but better late than never, right?
The first challenge was for this week's Try a new technique (TLC310) Heat Embossing on Dry Embossing. I used heat and stick powder and added glitter on my dry embossed panel. For the challenge and tutorial on this technique view here:
The second challenge was for Midnight Madness MMSC89. I loved the layout and thought it would work well for this card. You can check out this challenge here:
The pansy (colored with Copics) is from Speedy the Cat's Designer Collection over on Mark's Finest Papers. I love this set. I used a new nestie that I just bought and added rhinestones to add some bling to go with the glitter on the background panel. Added ribbon, and called it done.
Sure hope my friend likes her card, and more important I hope it lifts her spirits.
Thanks for looking, and let me know what you think.
