 | | I made this for todays inspiration challenge. This is my inspiration: http://www.uncommongoods.com/product...ch-night-light
As I was stamping my butterflies, I was listening to (WOW hits 2009), it is a Christian CD, and I thought of these butterflies. They are a reflection of where I've been and where I am going. When I first started stamping 5 or 6 years ago, I was in a very bad place. I was in a bad marraige and in deep depression because of the impending surgeries, I've had 4 already, and am waiting for my 5th. But now, God has truly worked in my life, and within this past year I have been transformed into this beautiful butterfly, full of love and Grace. It is all because God is soooooo Good! I am blessed!
So even though this card is called Sea of Butterflies, I want to call it God's Butterfly. Transformed into beauty and Grace through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! AMEN!!!
With that said, I used sky blue as my main panel. I then sponged, bashful blue, taken with teal, ballet blue, boerdering blue, tempting turquoise and cool carribean on it. I then used an embossing plate from SU and ran it thru the cb. I also ran the whole card thru the cb with a different embossing plate. I mounted it on black.
My butterflies, are peach parfait, thumped dusty durango and went around the edges with black marker.
tfl and have a blessed day! |
