A Grey Day

For the OLW38 challenge we had to use a sketch. This one was hard for me so I fell back on the snowy tree images that I love to stamp. For a change I created a monochrome card depicting the grey days I see quite often around here in winter. The snow was masked so I could create the grey sky. The tree was stamped in black and then stamped again in versamark slightly higher so I could emboss in clear leaving the snowy layer on the branches after I sponged.

You did a wonderful job on this card --- I like how you stamped with versamark slightly higher & clear-embossed, resulting in the appearance of snow on the branches. You have inspired me to try that now!
