Baby Sydney, Baby Austin
The thought of twins is quite exhaustin'
Twice the giggles, twice the poo
What's a brand new Mom to do
Redo their room with lots of monkeys
Show them cards from teapot junkies
Read a story, sing a song
Call Grandma Pat, you can't go wrong
Grandma Kokirose is beaming
Even when the twins are screaming
She's so happy, she's so proud
She's got her head up in a cloud
'Cause babies bring a special joy
A gorgeous girl, a bouncing boy
Count their fingers, count their toes
Plant lots of kisses on their nose
Hug 'em, squeeze 'em and love 'em a lot
They grow up fast, I kid you not
CONGRATULATIONS Kyle, Carlie and Grandma Patricia!

Drew the vine and monkeys, then colored them with Copics. In honor of the proud Grandma, I did some stitching, albeit faux, around the edges. Layered strips of DP to look like a baby quilt and called it done.

Great poem, and that stitching is worthy of Patricia. I sort of felt I should be using stitching on my card as I always admire hers so much, but your faux stitching looks better than any real stuff I could have done.

Hilda,
This is so cute and made me smile! Your freehand artwork is very good! Love the quilted background and colors. The card is wonderful, as always. P.S. Your faux stitching is wonderful. I tried it once and it really did look like bad faux stitching - where as yours looks like the real thing!
