This card is for theDaily Dare 12 days of Christmas Challenge 4, to make a card inspired by a Christmas song. I received a store-bought card very similar to this one for Christmas and I set it aside to copy because I thought it would be a great inspiration piece. It reminded me very much of the carol "Silent Night".
I used masking and sponging to make the hills and the moon. I used a lot of colors to try to get shading. On the hills I used Going Gray, Basic Gray. Bordering Blue and Baja Breeze. On the sky I used Baja Breeze, Marina Mist, Pacific Point, Night of Navy. The trees are stamped in Always Artichoke or Basic Gray. The tree in the foreground is way too light, I wish I had inked it heavier, but I wasn't going to back and redo everything for it!
Also, I wanted to add random glitter to the card to give a frosted effect, so I inked Well Worn in versamark and stamped in on the card front. Then I covered that with Heat & Stick Powder, embossed and added Dazzling Diamonds. This is a one layer card, but I don't know that it would qualify as CAS!

Absolutely gorgeous! The hills would never lead me to think this was a one layer card! Love the way you used Well Worn for the frosted look! And your tree in the forground is perfect just as it is! Lovely work!!!
