Manly nature silhouette card1
Added to Favorite

Photo Details
Poster: TrishG

Some manly cards for my upcoming card class. I knew I wanted to show off this lovely Nature Silhouettes stamp set.
I looked through my previous manly cards and found a color combination I really liked - soft suede, kraft, white and old olive.

I stamped the tree and wolf (with stamp-a-ma-jig) in the circle. Then I stamped it on the paper behind and popped the circle up on it. I did some distressing on the white layer behind it.

The green background is ripped and then I inked the texturz pad to get that lovely colored impression.

I'll be posting the manly nature silhouette card set on my blog so you can see some close ups.

This is wonderful! What a great masculine card! I like the way you did a circle behind the wolf and the textured impressions background sheet is a great idea!

I spotted these two cards last night - I don't often need masculine cards, luckily as I'm not good at them. But I think torn edges always work well. Thanks for sharing how you did the effect on the green background - I thought it was DP.
I'm going to have to scour my room for the thank ewe stamp! I used it not that long ago, but it wasn't in the case, nor in my tray of SU sets. I cut the sentiments separate from the images, so it's only a little bitty thing, but I am hoping it will turn up. I was stymied when it wasn't there and I had to go hunting for something else.
